Marzipan pudding
Ingredients for four people
85g marzipan tea confectionery
100 ml milk
200 ml cream
Gelatine (or agar agar as a vegan alternative)
1 large apple
50 ml water
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp brown sugar
almond slivers
Preparation
Chop the marzipan tea confectionery and melt it in a saucepan with the milk, stirring constantly over a medium heat. Add the cream and now use gelatine or agar agar according to the packet instructions. Fill four tumblers or glasses with the pudding and leave to set in the fridge. Before serving, heat the chopped apple with water, lemon juice, sugar and cinnamon until soft and add this as a topping to the pudding. Decorate with almonds if desired.
