Charlotte Rother
Charlotte Rother is a multidisciplinary artist and graphic designer. Growing up in Berlin, she draws a lot of inspiration from her hometown, which particularly inspires her because of its colourful and dynamic nature. "There is a wild creativity in it that is almost scary at times, it has often challenged me, inspired me, made me happy and sad," she says. For Charlotte Rother, the medium of print is a wonderful compromise between analogue and digital and it gives her great pleasure to capture the vibrant colours of her monitor on paper.

Lerke Nennemann
Lerke Nennemann, is a German artist living and working in Vancouver since 2022. Through her art, she explores the dynamic relationship between form, colour, proportion and structure. Her fresh, abstract compositions reflect not only her fascination with the interaction of colour, but also her admiration for the abstract expressionism of Modern Painting, which is reflected in and strongly influences her work. Her works consist mainly of abstract paintings on large-format canvases, as well as smaller studies on paper.

Art meets chocolates
In collaboration with the Berlin online gallery Kunst100, we are launching boxes of chocolates in combination with a strictly limited artwork for the second time on 10 October 2023. Six female artists from Kunst100's portfolio have each designed a work for Sawade, which can be purchased in an edition of 100 each in combination with a box of chocolates filled with 20 chocolates. The six works were curated by Kunst100 and can be combined with each other.
